Local New Yorkers Jeffrey Perrill And Jackson Halebian Tie The Knot In The Hudson Valley At The Abbey Inn And Spa

A Celebration Eight Years in the Making
After eight years together and a two-year engagement, Jackson and Jeffrey officially tied the knot on Saturday, September 26, 2026, surrounded by 90 of their closest family members and friends.
The two met in Rochester when Jackson was attending The University Of Rochester and they now work and live in New York City together. Jeffrey works in the fine jewelry industry and has worked at notable locations including Bergdorf Goodman. Jackson works as a digital advertising manager and is also a part time contributor to and the publisher of The Empire City Wire.
The day was marked by joyful surprises and unforgettable moments. The intimate celebration, cocktail reception, and dinner all took place on location at The Abbey Inn & Spa, perched high above the Hudson River in Peekskill, New York. Being connected to the city by the Metro North Peekskill station, guests had a very easy time navigating to and departing from the venue. Guests leaving from New York could depart from Grand Central and get to the venue in approximately one hour.
The Abbey Inn & Spa is a unique full-service boutique hotel featuring 42 distinctive guest rooms and suites, stunning meeting and banquet rooms for any occasion, a full-service spa and the Apropos farm-to-table restaurant. Located on historic Fort Hill, where Washington's army set up a key lookout post in the Revolutionary War, the 1902 convent of the Episcopal Sisters of Saint Mary's has been beautifully repurposed as a secular retreat for today's discerning travelers.
While rainy weather moved the ceremony indoors, the stunning sanctuary atmosphere of the venue provided a warm, romantic backdrop for the couple's quick, heartfelt vows.

After The Ceremony
Dressed in sleek black tie, guests gathered for an intimate, candlelit dinner. At the center of it all sat Jeffrey and Jackson at a king’s table, flanked by round tops in front of them.
Leading up to the dinner, members of the wedding party and family gave speeches including Jackson, one of the grooms:
“It isn’t always easy feeling comfortable in your own skin, or being fully open in public or in front of a big group of people and express who you are and your identity. But Jeff has given me so much confidence as my partner. Every day I strive to be the most authentic version of myself and every day I have Jeff to thank for helping me do that as my partner.”
Jeffrey’s father also announced during his speech that while Jeffrey’s brother was unable to attend in person, he had the ultimate blessing: Jeffrey’s sister in law gave birth to a new nephew earlier that morning at around 8:45 AM, bringing double the reason for the family to celebrate.
Following the meal before desert, the newlyweds treated their guests to a stylish mid-reception outfit change before cutting the cake. Jeffrey stepped out in a bold silk Salt Murphy top, while Jackson made his entrance in a classic white dinner jacket paired with a vibrant red corsage.
The night proved to be a magnificent testament to love, family, and the beginning of a new chapter for these two New Yorkers looking to celebrate two lives truly joined together.
