An immigrant coming to the United States in the early 1900s to escape a genocide, started multiple highly profitable businesses in America. Upon passing he provided a grant to pay for the creation of The Empire City Wire.

The son of Bill Aleppo, Steve Aleppo did not go into the family business and instead became a lawyer. Once The Empire City Wire was founded, he stepped in to provide legal counsel.

The grandson of Bill Aleppo, James spent the majority of his early career working a 9-5 in advertising but took the opportunity upon his grandfather’s death to run and manage The Empire City Wire.

A close confidant to James and the Aleppo family, Alfonse provides on the ground research. He tails and monitors stories as they happen in real time and gains access to exclusive sources the rest of the team can only dream of tapping into.

An early intern for the paper, Katelyn has proved to be a very valuable resource providing additional insight where needed.
