donna marie’s gluten free bakery

Donna Marie’s Gluten Free Bakery is a bakery aimed to provide people with gluten intolerances a chance to safely enjoy delicious desserts without any fear of cross-contamination. The entire bakery is gluten and peanut free, with multiple dairy-free options and some vegan options as well.

The owner, Donna Marie, has a passion for baking and cake-decorating. The idea for the bakery came about when Donna Marie’s neighbor, Heidi, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease—an illness where gluten causes an immune reaction. Donna Marie began baking gluten-free treats for Heidi, who suggested she open a gluten-free bakery since the taste was like regular gluten-containing sweets no dedicated gluten-free bakeries existed at the time.

Donna Marie sells products in stores such as Wegmans, cafés, and restaurants. Her menu consists of cupcakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, and custom cakes. She also does holiday specials, such as Easter bread around Easter and a seasonal pumpkin roll cake. She also sells other gluten-free goods, such as her own cake mixes, frozen bread, jams, and an Italian brand of gluten-free pasta.

I’ve personally tried Donna Marie’s treats, and I can honestly say that they’re delicious! Everything is so moist, and you really can’t tell that it’s gluten-free! I recommend trying her carrot cake cupcakes and her jumbo cookies, such as the jumbo brownie cookie with coffee frosting and the jumbo pumpkin spice cookie with vanilla frosting.

get caked bakery

Get Caked Bakery is a bakery located in Village Gate founded by female entrepreneur Kelly. Kelly is from a home of family bakers and learned many recipes from her great grandma and grandma. Some of those recipes, she learned, could be made completely vegan. She decided to open a bakery that offered many options for people who are vegan. She also makes treats that people with gluten, dairy, and nut allergies can enjoy.

The menu consists of cakes and cake slices, cupcakes, cookies, macarons, brownies, rice krispies, muffins, and other pastries. In addition to baked goods, Get Caked Bakery also has regular and decaf Columbian coffee, and tea in flavors such as Earl Grey and Raspberry Pomegranate with a selection of creamers and non-dairy options.

Another great aspect of this bakery is the custom order option. Kelly makes custom cakes of various flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, lemon, and carrot. Cakes can be specialized with many frosting options to choose from, custom decorations, and cake fillings such as jam and chocolate ganache. The cakes also come in multiple layers and size options. In addition to this, custom cupcake and cookie orders for parties and special events can be made. Almost all custom options can be made allergy friendly.

I’ve also tried treats from this bakery, and I highly recommend the cream puffs and Italian almond paste cookies. I’ve also tried her custom cakes—a red velvet multi-layer cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ganache, entirely gluten and dairy-free. Everything tastes delicious!

baker street bakery

Baker Street Bakery is a bakery specializing in bread. Their breads are award-winning and made from healthy ingredients such as unbleached flour. Everything is made from scratch. Each loaf is hand-shaped and baked in a French stone hearth, with a hearty crust and moist inside. The breads are preservative-free and embody a “true artisan bread.”

The bread menu consists of items such as baguettes, challah, boule, and sourdough. The baguettes and boule are made from an Italian dough, with a crispy outside and soft inside. The challah bread is a traditional braided loaf with a shiny crust and spongy inside. The sourdough bread is made with a homegrown sourdough starter. In addition to this, the bakery also makes a classic pan loaf, which is a white sandwich bread made with Italian dough. There are different flavors for some of the loaf types, such as rosemary-flavored baguettes and honey wheat pan bread.

Although the bakery specializes in bread, other baked goods are also sold there. Some include cakes, pastries, and cookies. The bakery provides a cozy atmosphere, and the storefront resembles storefronts on Baker Street in London, specifically the Sherlock Holmes Museum. It’s a cute place to enjoy freshly baked goods!
